Jeej, another milestone... 2 weeks ago we've experienced our first Canadian Holiday: Labour day! I have to admit, we didn't do anything special, because I'm still on Dutch working-time (sort of), so I had to work in the morning. But in the afternoon Gordon and I went for a belated brunch and just walked around a bit. In contrast to the Netherlands, when there is a Holiday, most of the shops were closed. But the weather was nice and I was wearing my new blue dress, it was a good day!
So the dress :D It is my first and only piece of clothing I bought since arriving in Canada, it's just from Zara, but I really love the minimalistic and simple cut of the dress and of course the flared sleeves. I actually wanted to dress it up, with my yellow/green-ish wedge sandals from Chie Mihara, but since we went for a walk I just decided to wear it with my good-old converse. Of course the outfit wouldn't be complete without my everyday-essentials: my A.P.C. bag and my golden Skagen watch.
I think it's the perfect dress to wear for a formal day or evening out, but also for a more casual event. What do you think?
