Last August I attended the grand opening opening of Stijl Men & Stijl Fine Living by Flinders, you can read all about this event in a previous blogpost. After witnessing the most beautiful and coolest interior stuff they have and also lets not forget about the mini-market from HAY, I was in desperate need of more... much more ;) So that's when I decided to visit the Flinders Flagship store in Zaandam.
While Stijl Fine Living by Flinders only has 6 big Scandinavian design brands, Flinders also houses many other designers. Not only do they have Scandinavian design brands (obviously), but also Italian, Dutch, American, German and so on.
The shop with cafe and storage is located is an old industrial building on an factory premises. These factories were built in the style of the Amsterdam School. I think this building suits Flinders and what they want to project.
So you can imagine that it would be an interior(design) heaven for me, being a sucker for pretty things. I have to admit there were quite a few things I wanted to take home with me. Below you can find some of my favourites.
Also I have some exciting news to share with you guys.. I will be writing monthly as a guest blogger for Flinders Magazine! You can read my first article here.
It's in Dutch, but if you want to know something you can always contact me!
What do you think of interior(design) and where do you get your inspiration for your home?
